For our Christian Customers it is a good time to reflect and think about one’s devotion and faith with it being the last week of Lent - Holy Week. One thing a lot of Christians, especially the crafty ones, are exploring are Bible Journaling entries that reflect the message of the selected scripture through artistic expression. Here at Palette & Paper we love fostering one’s faith through creating, and have a great selection of stencils, stamps, stickers, paper and more that can be used in Bible Journaling. Also, we host a monthly Bible Journaling session lead by our Creative Team Member, Cindy. During this 90-minutes per month, Cindy guides the group through a Bible Journaling entry and educates participants on various techniques. Be sure to click here to get signed-up for our second quarter of Bible Journaling. If you need some ideas on how to get started with Bible Journaling (keep in mind, this doesn’t have to be done in a bible - you can use a journal, hymnal and more), read our blog post on the subject. If you need inspiration for a Holy Week or Easter themed page look no further than below. Below is a tutorial on how to sketch "Risen". It would be great incorporated into a Bible Journaling page to celebrate Easter. Click here for other great "doodle" tutorials. Below is a reading plan for this week and scripture to focus on for your Bible Journaling. We wish all of our customers, of all beliefs and faith, a wonderful week and weekend! Thanks for reading and we hope to see you at P&P soon (please note, P&P will be closed Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15).
